Behemoth Magazine Presents: Neon Claws at Cat Zine Fest
June 27–29, 2025
Behemoth Magazine is sharpening its claws for a new kind of purr-suit: cats, chaos, and cyberpunk rebellion. Our newest zine, Aftershock Volume 3: Neon Claws, will debut at Cat Zine Fest, hosted by the amazing folks at Cool Cat Collective.
Neon Claws is a 20 page sci-fi cyberpunk zine packed with art, writing, photography, and a special four-page preview comic: Momimimeow.
Momimimeow follows Kari Masuyama, a high school dropout who shares a telepathic link with her disaster-sensing cat, Sebastian. Created, drawn, and written by Scott Knoll, with help from Valentino Di Pietro Hernandez, Momimimeow is the third ongoing comic from Behemoth Magazine.
Aftershock Volume III: Neon Claws also features:
Art and poetry by Isabella De La Torre
Art dedication by Jared Joseph
In Hearts, a poem by Brandon Xiong
Additional contributions from Tiffany and Britney.
And more.
Every zine sold supports a cause—$1 from each copy benefits our rescue partners at @tippedears. After the fest, the zine will be available on the Behemoth website and a portion of proceeds from Neon Claws will continue to support animal shelters.
Shout out to Cool Cat Collective for letting us be part of such a claw-some cause!
Stay tuned for sneak peeks and scratched-up spoilers—Neon Claws is coming. 🐾
